Lansana Keita was a well regarded Sierra Leonean philosopher who passed on recently. Professor Keita spent most of his career teaching and researching philosophy and economics in Sierra Leone, the United States where he spent over a dozen years working, the University of Ibadan (Nigeria), the University of the Gambia and most recently at Kwara State University in Nigeria.
